Indicated for
- Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis (correctly diagnosed)
- Pyelonephritis

- Skin and soft tissue infections, especially cellulitis, animal bites, severe tooth abscess with spread of cellulite.
- Female genital infections
Prophylaxis against infections associated with major surgical procedures in adults, such as those involving:

Dosage
Tablets:
Adults and children - ≥ 40 kg - One tablet twice a day.
Children - <40 kg - Not recommended for children <40 kg.
Elderly - No dosage adjustment is considered necessary.
Suspension:
Children <40 kg Recommended dose:
From 40 mg / 5mg / kg /day to 80 mg / 10 mg / kg / day (without exceeding 3000 mg / 375 mg per day) in three doses, depending on the severity of the infection.
VERICLAV infants is for oral administration.
Take the medicine at the start of a meal, in order to minimize the risk gastrointestinal intolerance and improve absorption of amoxicillin / clavulanic acid.
Injection:
Adults and children - ≥ 40 kg - 1000 mg / 200 mg every 8 hours
Children <40 kg Recommended doses:
Children aged 3 months and over: 25 mg / 5 mg per kg every 8 hours
Children aged less than 3 months or weighing less than 4 kg: 25 mg / 5 mg per kg every 12 hours
Elderly - No dose adjustment is considered necessary.
